We were a little apprehensive knowing that we'd be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with other guests; however, we ended up having a great time with them, and the shared bathroom was not a problem. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, utensils and pans, although two burners and no oven for 6 people is a stretch. Parking on site was safe and convenient.

Very friendly staff and great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For us a great starting and ending point for Triglav hikes.

The town was reachable by both the arriva bus that runs regularly and the 2euro Bohinj tourist bus that runs in high season. The accommodation was perfect for us as it was so close to Triglav national park and the starting points of major hikes. It had everything you need including a mini fridge, table and chairs, private washroom, wifi and a tower fan. The host was even nice enough to let us use her kitchen to cook meals. She treated us at check in with a nice cold drink and highlighted some of the great things to do around the area proving us with a map and hiking routes. Of all the countries we have been to in Europe, Slovenia probably does tourism the best making the national park so easily accessible. 10/10 recommend this place as home base for exploring the park.

With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We had a wonderful stay in Alenka’s. She couldn’t have been more helpful. She even bought a room fan for us as the weather was extremely warm. She also gave us directions for a lovely hike and emailed the directions without being asked. Overall, we would highly recommend staying in Alenka’s guesthouse.
