This used to be a family home which has been converted to a guest house. It is spacious, beautiful, well cared for and a fabulous location in the Medina. The terrace has a beautiful view of the Medina and surrounding City. Staff were very helpful and friendly. As were the locals. Everyone was most helpful.

What can I say? Dar Dorra was the last accommodation on our trip through Tunisia and it was a crowning moment. Located directly in the medina of Tunis, Dar Dorra is one of the best hotels we visited during our trip. The staff were very friendly, the premises are enormous and decorated with incredible taste. I loved my room. It was not the largest but it felt so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant belonging to Dar el Jeld, which was the best culinary experience we had in all of Tunisia. Absolutely NOTHING to complain about!

It was a beautiful light filled and spacious property with views out to the Mediterranean. It had several sitting areas inside and out including by the lovely pool. We loved the generous breakfast and great coffee while enjoying the garden and sea views.
