We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

Berghouse and Cottages is situated in a rural setting, high up in the Northern Drakensberg Hills, 30 km from Bergville. Free WiFi is available in each cottage. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely return. Our cottage was fairytale cute, and the view from it was amazing. An added bonus were the little Shetland Ponies who came to visit us while we had our breakfast.

From the little treats left on the bedside to the rusk biscuits which were so thoughtful. Super friendly owners. This will definitely be a place I would want to come back to.

There are so many things in the house that make the property very practical. For example, there was an ice maker, coffee machine with flavors, soda stream, microwave, 2 fridges, washing machine and detergent, lunchboxes, plates, cutlery, smart tv, WiFi, puzzles, a dart board, braai area with everything you need, camp chairs and of course the star of the show - the Kolkol Hottub! I could keep counting forever
