The Hilton Salalah Resort overlooks the Indian Ocean in Salalah. Breakfast is served by the temperature-controlled pool and bonfire dinners on the white sandy beach. The Hilton hotel is very well located, only 15mn from the airport. It is extremely clean, has a beautuful swimming pool with a water slide and a long beach. It is not crowded at all and we enjoyed playing in the waves. The hotel room was impeccable, very quiet and the layout was perfect. My son and I had our own bed and we felt very confortable. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. One day we forgot to remove the " do not disturb" sign on the door , but later in the afternoon the cleaning service took the care to do our room without even asking. I thought this was high quality service. The staff is very attentive, smiley and friendly, always happy to help or assist. The buffet is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality of food is good with some variety. There is another restaurant à la carte on the opposite side but we did not try it as the buffet offered all we needed. The restaurant terrace is right on the pool which is really pleasant. The only downside are the big black birds which come very close to the tables and can be a bit annoying but the staff is very careful and pays attention to it. It shows the natural part of Oman ! I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay and will definitely go back there next time.
