There are three things I look for in a hotel for a seaside get-away: great breakfast, comfy bed, nice balcony. The Hilton in Hua Hin had it all, plus truly wonderful staff. I had a nasty reaction to a bug bite, and the staff sent me a note and left a voicemail to make sure I was OK. The breakfast was spectacular with so many options, western and Asian. Our room was huge with a fabulous bed. No problems with noise, even though we were there during the Songkran festival. The balcony offered a lovely view of the pool and sea beyond, AND ... understand how rare this is in Thailand ... it had comfortable furniture! I loved hanging out there with a book and a cup of tea in the morning.

Breakfast was very good, lot of selections. Location was great but i know that area well, so perfect for me. BTS station very close and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
