The villas are individual small houses, really clean and well presented. The villa was very spacious and the beds were big enough for two adults (I would call them double beds rather than queen size). The bathroom is really nice. The kitchen was well equipped not that we really cooked, but also had a dishwasher. It's in a very pretty area with views of the hills.

Koundo Guest House is a beautiful 2-store traditional style japanese house located in a lovely neighborhood nearby many touristic spots in Nikko. The manager - a kind and discrete old japanese man who sleeps in a room downstairs - receptioned us with soft drinks and showed us the house facilities and a map of the neighborhood. We loved the whole experience and we certainly want to come back one day.

We love this spacious Japanese style house a lot! It’s located in a quiet area and has a fully equipped kitchen. A big supermarket is just nearby, so you can easily cook your dinner here. There are at least 3 heaters and 2 aircons to keep you warm in the night. Most importantly, the house owner is super nice and helpful, who even offered us a free ride to the train station. Overall, we highly recommend this clean and cozy house to travellers:)

Polar resort was exceptional. great location..walkable to everything in Tubo Nikko area. the home was very well appointed and exceptionally clean. we found the set up was great for communication...good connconnectivity and a great work setup. the kitchen was well appointed. can't say enough good things about this facility.
