OMG, this tiny home was amazing. Staying here on Skye was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The view was to die for, we never even considered turning on the TV. We spent the evenings watching the sunsets over the water and mountains. I can't wait to return. Now the specifics.... the home is indeed small, but nicely laid out. The bedroom is up a set of stairs and the firm bed is low to the floor. There are large boxes under the bed for storing clothing, which worked well. We put our luggage in the car. There are a few un-carpeted stairs which can be slippery in stocking feet and no handrail so descend cautiously - we didn't have a problem. The bathroom is interesting with the toilet/sink one one side of the hall and the shower on the other, good use of space. The kitchen in small, but well equipped for cooking. Frazer and Emma even left a wee dram (thank you)! The location is a bit out of the way, about 1/2 hour south of Broadford where you will need to stock up on groceries. The drive is on narrow roads with plenty of sheep to make it interesting. We will definitely stay here again!

At the holiday home, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. The little kitchen was perfect to make our breakfasts and have snacks. Everything was very clean . We ate one night at the restaurant on site and food was delicious ! Close by other dining options though the Sprig is very well presented !

This holiday home also has a balcony that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. The accommodation is non-smoking. The house felt like a home for our three nights. Modern and clean with all the amenities you would need. Well stocked kitchen and appliances. The balcony is great although the weather didn't let us use it as much as we would like. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Location was fantastic, very quiet area yet close enough to the A87 and Portree to make travel around the island a breeze.

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. the location, central, the beautiful garden with benches to sit in, the lovely sofa and beds. the reception. everything was complete, there was everything you need. The vieuw from the house, every window in the kitchen was like A painting view ( 3) the decor was tasteful, there were folders with tips about the island, there were several books and a book with instructions, in short, great.

We can’t say enough good things about the owners or the facilities. Absolute gem of a place and John & Karen are salt of the earth people. The location is gods country with endless beauty. We could spend the rest of our lives combing the beaches of this area for the rest of time.

The property has garden views and is 48 km from Eilean Donan Castle and less than 1 km from Museum of the Isles. This 4-star holiday home offers private entrance. The cabin is very clean and equipped with everything including a dishwasher. There is tea, coffee, salt, sugar and spices. The place is very beautiful on the seashore in the forest. It is conveniently located for traveling around the island. Nearby (5 minutes by car) there is a restaurant where they cook delicious food. Check-in is very well organized. I recommend this place for those traveling to Skye.

Fantastic place to stay a very short walk from the middle of Portree and the bus station. It's a really quiet place, you can hear footsteps from the shop above but it's only during business hours. I was outside most of the time so it's not really an issue. The place is stocked up wonderfully, I planned on hiking a lot and it was great having a lot of breakfast options already in the fridge. The place generally is super comfortable and well maintained.
