Location is exactly at Lake Ruataniwha, good to stay here if you aim to visit Mt Cook, it is not far only 40 minute drive. There is a share kitchen, you can ask for a cooking equipment from front desk staff. Share bathrooms is with hot shower and clean toilets. There are many zones of camp vans and houses. Lovely staff (girl at front mini mart).

Located 500 metres from the town centre, Twizel Holiday Park is located in Twizel. Guests receive 100 MB of free WiFi per day. Twizel Holiday Park is located within a 10-minute walk from restaurants, shops and a supermarket. We stayed in Cottage 1 and could not fault it. The staff were very friendly on check-in and were very helpful when we asked about the local area. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen unit in the cottage was well equipped.

Some units in the holiday park have private entrance and are fitted with wardrobe and outdoor furniture. Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and slippers. All units include bed linen. I rang prior to our arrival to ask if it was possible to have access to a bathroom for my partner to get changed, this was well before our check in time and they cleaned our room early and had it available for us before 12 midday, very much appreciated, top service 👍👍
