This inn, with its charming wooden structure, offered clean linens, comfortable beds, and a tranquil escape. Dawa and Zhuo Ma’s warm hospitality and delicious cooking made our stay memorable. The highlight was Kele (Cola), their lively dog, who followed us like a loyal bodyguard. Highly recommended!

Charming hotel with wonderfull host. The hotel has a great location, the house is 100 year old with adobe walls and traditional style. The host speak perfect english and gave us great tips.

The owner is super friendly, speaks good English and is incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. He can help you to figure out your plans in ShangriLa and knows the current conditions. The homestay is in a good area, easily accessible by didi, bike etc. Only a short walk to old town and surrounded by lots of shops, food and everything you need. It is a very social and inviting environment with a really nice, big common area with some games, a piano and bar area. We spent a lot of time talking and hanging out with the owner and other guests. Everyone was so fun! When we were there, there was also a beautiful dog who we loved! The room is spacious, has comfy beds and the paintings on the wall were very cute. Thank you and see you again another time :)

The warmth and hospitality of the hosts was amazing. We arrived late, they made dinner for us and gave us fruit while dinner was being prepared. They told us of the attractions, travel time and gave a lift to the train station. The rooms were large and well equipped. The hosts made every effort to ensure we had a great stay.

A cute little boutique tucked away in a quiet part of the old town. The room was clean and spacious. If it gets too cold, you can borrow jackets & hats from the owner and the beds are heated! There’s also a cute little dog that lives here!

Very clean! Impressed that the toilet was so clean, comes with hair dryer even! And have electric heated bed. The food was good! And the coffee )had caramel macchiato) was really impressive.. yummy home made tea cookies. View from the guesthouse’s cafe was stunning, could catch sunrise and sunset. The lady boss was really friendly and is a great host, had a long conversation of how the teahouse came about- its their home and they set up this guesthouse, and its part of the old famous teahorse road (the other famous road is the silk road in china)z
