It's a real palace and if you treat it this way - it's great. We also visited the whole palace with a discount ticket - and we learned about the place and family history ❤️. The owners are nice and attentive. In fact it's a family home of Duke and his family that you are invited to... We got small things to eat and a coffee. Excellent host, very communicative and let me check in a bit early. Beautiful spotless room with an ensuite, and the location was great - on a quiet street but less than 5 minute walk to the centre. And it was very good value for money! Would definitely stay again.
