Maureen was a great host, she opened her home to us & made us feel at home. There were so many small touches that are often overlooked by larger places. She provided a small fridge with a small carton of milk for us, there was tea / coffee in the room; we had use of a separate dining room & lounge & were free to use her kitchen. We had the twin room & the beds were really comfortable; we slept like logs. Due to the location of the farm, it is really peaceful & quiet from outside noise. There are horses stabled in the yard but you'd never know; we didn't hear any noise, even though our room overlooked them.

Wonderful accommodation hosted by a kind and welcoming Sri Lankan couple, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel right at home. Their hospitality was second to none, and their attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast they prepared for us—it was absolutely delicious and a delightful surprise! The flavors, presentation, and care they put into the meal showcased their passion for sharing their culture. Thank you for an unforgettable stay—I’d gladly return in the future!

I booked this room at last minute and I could not have asked for anything better for the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. This self contained room with en-suite is located in a quiet cul-de-sac so I was able to park and feel safe. The host provided tea and coffee and left bottles of water. Highly recommend.
