Rooms were well appointed, exceptionally so for the price. Bed was clean and comfortable. Saul is a great host. Sharing bathrooms wasn't an issue as there's two for the three rooms.

Very friendly owners, great location, tasty breakfast served from 7am (this is important! in one of the Welsh hotels I visited, breakfast was from 9am, too late if you are planning a longer hike). Oh, and the building is beautiful!

Viewed dolphins as we drank our morning tea. Loved hearing the sound of the waves at night. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and modern.

Directly on the seafront, Awel Mor is located in Criccieth. Free parking is available along the road or in the nearby public car park. Criccieth Castle is just 800 metres away.
