Fantastic husband and wife team, couldn't have been more helpful or accomodating. Breakfast was superb! Room was clean, comfortable with good WiFi. Fantastic view from the bedroom!

Sue, the owner, is a lovely, friendly lady who tried to accommodate all our needs. The room was big and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and scrumptious with lots of choices.

Fabulous hosts after a very late booking due to very bad weather. Nothing was too much trouble - made to feel very welcome plus no bother that I had the dog with me. Brilliant choice of breakfast. Would 100% recommend

Very spacious room, bed was like a cloud. As I was cycling through Wales I arrived late and it was no hassle at all, it was organised to pick up my keys from a different place (The Crown or the Lamb and Flag) before hand and the staff were brilliant, even had a place to store my bike overnight too. Also, breakfast the next morning was excellent.

I can't rate Heidi or the facilities highly enough. It really felt like a home away from home. The room was comfortable and the house is lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also amazing, great little touches like fruit in the room and bath salts. Communication was also second to none. I'll definitely be booking with Heidi again at Northampton House, I've already reserved my next stay.

This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel, comfortable rooms and a free Wi-Fi zone.

This is a spectacular place! Just renovated with luxury touches. The bed was very comfortable and the entire place is very clean. The full kitchen and dining area was well equipped and there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy. All the rooms were booked during my stay, and I never heard any of the other guests. The bathroom is shared but there are two toilets, one separate from the main bathroom allowing for access if the main bathroom was in use. The main bathroom is very spacious and has a great modern shower and wonderful tub. Don't worry about forgetting something at home - it is very well stocked with anything you might need. It was a close walk to the Lake and is located right in the center of town. Definitely will be staying here when I visit next time.
