David and Irene are the most lovely, genuine, witty hosts I ever met. Welcoming us when we arrived and the second day when we got back; it felt like home away from home. David makes a smashing breakfast (thanks again, chef) and Irene is honorary mayor of Assynt with her extensive knowledge of the region. They helped us plan our day and the rest of our trip. If you want a true bed&breakfast experience, do not hesitate one bit: Tigh na Sith is your home away from home in Assynt.

I found the bedroom clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the communal sitting room space. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I appreciated coffee and cake on arrival. A memorable stay!

We loved the village of Lochinver. It had lovely places to eat and some interesting independent shops. The breakfast provided exceeded our expectations as there was a wide variety of cereal, fruit, cheese, meats and breads.
