We had a wonderful village stay at Shiva Kashi Home Stay and would happily rate it 10/10. The experience was peaceful, authentic, and deeply grounding—exactly what we were looking for. The host was incredibly helpful and was always ready to assist with anything, whether it was offering guidance on places to visit, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable. That kind of attentiveness made the stay feel very personal and warm. The home stay itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly situated to give a real taste of village life. The home-cooked food was simple, delicious, and made with genuine care. If you're visiting Maheshwar and want to experience true hospitality in a serene village setting, I highly recommend staying here. A peaceful, memorable, and heartwarming experience.

The host is very humble and kind. The place is right in the middle of the market 7 mins walk from the ghat and 2 mins from the bus stand. The rooms are clean and the hot water was available even in the middle of the night. The staff helped me park the car in a safe space right behind the property. Their inhouse lemon grass green tea from their farms was refreshing. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this as one of the most premium stays in the area. This property is the right mix between a bed and breakfast and a hotel. The host and his team go out of their way to make me comfortable. They also recommended very interesting locations and sunset points for sunrise and sunset. The food recommendations was on point.
