Sadie's English was very good and she can give you lot's of useful tips and recommendations. The area was also really nice and peaceful yet close to everything you need (train station, restaurants, supermarket, conbini, etc.)

Very quiet neighborhood, nice family owned business. The house and facilities are clean and all the other guests were considerate of others. We had a lovely stay and went shopping at Old Nakasendo every day :)
