This place is really part of the forest. Sitting out on the patios you can hear and see animals trees, plants, lizards and fantastic birds. You can also walk the small roads for animal sightings and beautiful views. And still walk to town easily. Gihan and family are welcoming, kind and generous with their time. I went on 2 forest hikes with Gihan, as guide, and I saw and learned so much. He is very knowledgeable and committed to people seeing and understanding the value of the forest. The driver of tuk tuk that Gihan organizes is a superb driver who is also part of what makes this place special. The rooms are clean and comfortable and food is good and plentiful.

Our stay at the edge of Sinharaja Rainforest was absolutely amazing! The accommodation offers breathtaking views from the balcony, where we could enjoy the beauty of both the lush rainforest and expansive rice fields. Location beautiful. Tucked on a hillside overlooking the jungle. Quiet and peaceful. Our host, chanaka, was very helpful and enthusiastic. He was open for any adventure and hung out with us for a night of music, dancing, and laughs.

The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. If you are a nature lover,this is the best place you should be.....I spent some wonderful days at Rainforest Mount Villa. The view and landscape is something special-amazing - the villas are right inside the rain forest!!!! And the balcony on the riverbank it was something I really enjoyed. Sarath - the owner of this lovely place, its an amazing man, an excellent jungle guide, professional, generous, and very friendly. It was really nice days that we experienced and we felt right welcome. Finally, there were great tips for our further trip. When we missed the bus just a little, he even drove it miles behind him, so we still get him.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in the Sri Lankan rainforest. The host and his whole family were incredibly kind and helpful, and they made us feel very welcome. The homemade food was delicious and freshly prepared every day. Our room was spacious and clean. The rainforest tour was a highlight – we learned and saw so much, and the guides passion and knowledge made the experience truly unforgettable.
