My husband and I had incredible days in Tromso. The accommodation was great and had everything we needed, including kitchen utensils, so we could cook several times, along with a super comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. The host was very welcoming; he gave us various tips on tours and transportation in the city, answered all our questions, and most importantly, fulfilled my dream of seeing the Northern Lights. I had already tried to see the Northern Lights in several other countries without success, but he is a great professional and took us to a place away from the city lights, dark enough for us to have an incredible night with the Northern Lights; he also took amazing photos. I will cherish forever in my memory these incredible days I had in Tromso and at the accommodation. I highly recommend it and will definitely return one day.

Our stay here was incredible!! The guesthouse has a shared kitchen and bathroom but even at full capacity it was very easy to share the space. The accommodations are extremely clean and everything works well. The hosts are just next door so if you need anything (like a can opener!) they pop right over. The location was also perfect as it's directly next to a bus stop that goes to the airport and to town, and the bus system is extremely easy to use. I also liked that there was a Eurospar only a 5 min walk away. However, the most outstanding thing was our hosts, Vasilis and Luba. Luba was super responsive while we were planning our trip and did a great job organizing our tours and giving recommendations. Vasilis was our tour guide for reindeer and northern lights and we really appreciated how hard he tries to ensure everyone has a good experience. He will do everything he possibly can to make sure you see the northern lights!!! He was also fun and interesting to talk to, and is very knowledgeable about the area. He is also pretty handy with a camera! The hosts made this trip possible and it really shows why guesthouses are so much better than hotels ;) We also really appreciated being able to rent gear from the hosts, and I highly recommend anyone who doesn't live in a cold weather country to do the same!!!

Clean, warm, and cosy. I love how guests are encouraged to keep the place clean and refrain from being noisy at night (10pm-7am). The owners, Mrs Thia and Mr Martin, are extremely sweet people. Cat lovers will be thrilled to meet the cute grey mommy cat who walks around the place (miss her as she meowed outside my room almost every night). You can also see the Northern lights from one of the balconies if you get lucky!! Located very close to the airport, and also a 20-min walk to the city centre. There are also a few bus stops nearby in case you're not in the mood to walk in the chilly weather. The property also offers guided Northern Lights/Fjords tours at discounted prices to their guests. Will definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a cosy, safe space in the heart of the town!! I'll definitely stay here again whenever I return to Tromso!!

For our luck we found this place as most affordable and value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed staying for 4 days (march 2025). The host's family is the most welcoming we could ever have. Our room was fully organized with heaters, good bed/blankets/towels/wardrobes and TV off course. The house was neat and clean and we were able to cook our meal, which was the best part. The location is very near to the public bus service(selnes Skole stop) from airport and would really recommend to stay here as you can witness the fairly tale houses ,snow, some times reindeers. We booked our activities tour from host: 1. chase the northern lights( we got to see the lights for 1st visit itself, so we pay for the experienced tour guide) 2. Reindeer feeding and Fjords both the tours you will be picked from this place and drop again to this place which is the best part. We would totally, recommend for the activities also.
