This guest house is part of the Benedictine Schotten Abbey in the heart of Vienna and offers quiet accommodation in a secluded atmosphere. The location of the guesthouse cannot be beat, especially if you are staying for the Christmas Markets. There is one just outside the door- and most of the others are within a 5-minute walk from the guesthouse. The building is beautiful and well-maintained, and the breakfast is really great with varieties of olives, cheeses, breads, pastries, yogurts, fruits, etc. The staff were lovely.

The location is nice as there an U- and S-bahn stations just around the corner. We just got a weekly transport pass and it was so convenient. 25 minutes and you are in the city center. There’s also a very nice Austrian restaurant nearby, as well as a bakery and a Bila supermarket in walking directions.

(First time traveling to Vienna) The bed was very comfortable and the shared bathroom / shower room was very clean. I like the design of having separate rooms for the shower and toilet. The area is quite so I enjoyed a good night's sleep for a great price.
