Although the kitchen and deck are shared areas, they do a brilliant job of disappearing to the background to give the visitors the full benefit. The home is lovely, and the bedroom and bathroom used for homestay are very warm and welcoming. Sitting on the deck this morning with the two chickens was a joy, and the garden views are very relaxing. Sarah has plenty of recommendations for local restaurants, which worked very well for us Will definitely return if we target a visit to Great Keppel Island in the summertime

From the location to the room, everything was just wonderful! Rosanne is a wonderful hostess and a wonderful person, she was always ready to listen to questions and it was very pleasant to just chat with her. This house also has a cozy kitchen and dining room; cooking was a pleasure! It was an absolute pleasure to be in this house; we also loved sitting on the cozy veranda both day and evening! Now that we've left, we truly miss this place! We hope to visit again!

There are two guestrooms and a shared kitchen/living space with the most fantastic view over Coooktown. Our bathroom was across the living space (I believe the other room is en-suite) but it was just for us and we had no issues with that. The hosts are so charming, hardly saw them, although they live up above so they are on hand to answer any questions.
