We had an excellent stay at the Las Bandurrias Eco Hostal. The hostal located at a plateau above Cochamo offered a beautiful view from our room and the terrace to the Reloncavi estuary and the surrounding volcanoes. After a long day on the road we were happy to find a warm and cozy place. Our spaceous room with a private bathroom was very clean as well as the shared kitchen facilities. Ignacio was such a wonderful and caring host. He was very flexible in order to prepare an excellent full early breakfast at 6:00 am as we had to leave early for a hiking tour. He also provide great support in order to organize gasoline for our rental car from a neighbour.

Patricia speaks Spanish . I’ve stayed there for 3 nights. It is very clean and modern! Great water pressure and hot showers . . It smells nice and Patricia styled the house with love. Big highlight - Patricia’s food! breakfast is great - eggs ( sausage optional if you like) with fluffy bread, jam , tea/ coffee and cookies . Dinner is available with extra payment , Patricia made Colombian home cooked meals .. it was so good I had dinner every night I’ve stayed, for dinner / lunch you get main course + side dish+ salad + ice cream and fruit for desert. She tailors to ones dietary needs too🥰Still thinking about her patacones.. I had the single room and my bed was very comfy. And the ceiling is very high .
