We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Everything was perfect!! Amazing hospitality and very warm and friendly host. The breakfast was 10/10 with many home made jams and marmalades. Our host Frau Kuchler was extremely helpful and welcoming and helped us with tips and suggestions. The Guest House itself is located in a beautiful peaceful location amidst nature and recently renovated. We visited in winter to celebrate our anniversary and for the winter activities around Lam. We will come back again in Summer!

Very good value for money, with a comfortable albeit simple room and a very nice and varied breakfast. The location is right along one of the accessory trails of the Goldsteig, making it a good spot for a stay along your trip.

The area in the Bayerish Oberpfalzen Wald is truly beautiful. The views out of the bedroom window!!! The friendly greeting at reception by the host who spoke fluent English and was very pleasant and informative. He said his mum will be here at check out time the next morning who doesn't speak much English, but luckily I spoke some German and we understood most things. She, Regina , was very pleasant and smiley also. Good choice of breakfast and dinner. Great staff. We liked the dinner there too, although the salad dressing (already on the salad) and the clear soup were extremely salty. They were rushed off their feet busy at dinner time, really fully booked! Quiet area. Really clean hotel apart from the staircase which also was relatively clean. Nicely decorated. Nice plants around too attracting bees 🙂 A must welcome bottle of sparkling water awaited us which opened with a little bang like when you open champagne. Great on a hot day after several hours of driving. The room had a little fridge which was cool but not that cold. And the little extras in the bathroom....we're a real surprise! Apart from fresh white towels and clean white bedsheets, in the bathroom there was a mini sewing repair kit, a toothbrush with a mini toothpaste, a pack of tissues (as well as a box of tissues) a little pack with make up remover pads and cotton buds and a mini nail file! Sanitary bags. And a larger bag for the laundry in the wardrobe. I think a shower cap would have been great too.
