We especially liked the original plank floors. Lunch on the edge of the river was one of our best meals ever. We could have spent several days enjoying the park. If you're biking the Loire River trail (like us) this is a must stay. You haven't fully experienced France if you haven't stayed at Le Relais de Mantelot.

The family suite/apartment and the entire property are very clean and well-maintained. In addition, the owners are very friendly and professional, which makes this place first-class. It was easy to relax and enjoy our time. We will come again!

They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, while also giving us our privacy. We had a lovely room on the third floor with a gorgeous view of the river and a very comfortable bed. We awoke to a delicious breakfast of fresh chocolate croissants, bread and apple juice all purchased by the host before we woke up. We also had delicious honey harvested by their neighbor as well as several homemade jams.They live in a darling small town with several restaurants and a gorgeous church. It was all PERFECT!!! I forgot to add that there is a beautiful rooftop jacuzzi!!!
