The room was lovely and spacious with on suite. and a great view from the window. Breakfast was very good, choice of cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt and a full english with tea coffee and orange juice.. We also had our own sitting room where we could relax in the evening to watch TV or to read there is a large choice of books to choose from .Margaret also does holistic therapies.would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at the Rose cottage. Everything was super and well maintained. Our room was cute and on the main floor with a bathroom beside it that was for only us. The bedroom was lovely looking out onto the garden. The bed was super comfy. The hosts were extremely friendly and made great suggestions for breakfast! We only stayed one night but would absolutely stay again. Parking (Free) was on the street and not a problem at all. Location was great, walked to the Red Lion pub, Prestwick golf course, beach and downtown for breakfast.

Beaches is a small family-run guest house featuring a large private garden with gated access to Ayr’s sandy beach. It's set just 5 minutes’ walk from Ayr’s centre with its shopping, dining, and nightlife. We liked the warm welcome from the owner Jan. She was amazing and friendly and there were nice touches added like her home baked shortbread cookies in the room. The breakfast was amazing the options were endless. The room we stayed in was great very comfortable and great views of the beach. Location was great for the recommended restaurants for dinner. We would definitely recommend Beaches.
