Hosted by Abi with such warmth and special touches. Our room was welcoming from the moment we entered. It was an oasis, really, and rather tastefully decorated. You can see the effort. Our host was very, very helpful with where to go and what to do, like walking routes, eateries etc. She took care to give special instructions how to get there and made sure we had a place to park. Unforgettable. If we ever returned to Cotswold, this would be our base. (We had rented a car which was a short bus ride away from Stroud train station. We had taken the train in from Stratford, London.) From The Hidden House, we drove to many scenic spots like Bourton-on-the-water, Stow-on-the-wold and even as far as Oxford!
