At the guest house, all rooms have a desk, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. All guest rooms at Birchwood Guest Lodge come with a seating area. The owner welcomed me when I arrived late in the evening , tired from the west highland way, and was very kind and warm! He was helpful and patient even though it was pretty late. The room was decorated so special, and had everything I needed for a good night sleep. The shower is great. The location is close to the WHW trail and was the best choice. Very close to a pub and a coffee place. I would stay there again.

Crannaig house is so nice and sweet, it was our first day in Scotland and that was perfect start of our trip! I liked the house itself and our room. Everything is extremely clean, new, quality linen, big fluffy towels, soaps, cream and shampoo by Scottish natural Highland Soap company. We also got a sweet present, homemade here in Aberfoyle. Please don’t hesitate to have breakfasts and dinner at Crannaig House, because Shaun is excellent cook and everything was so delicious! Also Shaun gave us some suggestions for our rout.
