The place has the perfect location, close to everything nice in Balian, the pool was an amazing add-on and the garden is beyond beautiful. This was an oasis for my nervous system. Ketut was such a great host. I was sick on one day and he cared for me, bringing me coconuts, bananas and offering some support. Very grateful for this experience. Also the price is amazing. If I would not have had a plane right after, I would have loved to stay longer.

I would really recommend staying here, everything was perfect. The host is amazing, very kind, helpful, speaks good english. He took us to see the local market, told us about balinese culture and arranged transport to our next accommodation. The room is like new, very clean and comfortable. Shower and toilet are separated, shower has hot water, shampoo and body wash. There is also toothpaste. Aricon is good. There is tv with Netflix. Near is a warung with very good and cheap food and also offers delivery to your room for free! The location is quiet, next to the ricefields, very calming, we loved it. If you like staying in more peacful places you must come here. This was the best stay we had in our three week trip to Bali.

The Dukuh Retreat is truly a magical place. We spent there as a couple a week after we arrived by plane to Bali and it was a great decision. It helped us to rest after our journey and learn a lot about Bali from the local people. We couldn't be more grateful for the attention and care of the staff about us. We enjoyed the traditional Balinese dishes, local cultural activities, beautiful garden and rice terrace near the house and above all the relaxing massage. Often we had the swimming pool or yoga classes only for ourselves so we were really given a lot of personal attention.

Personale gentilissimo, preciso e puntuale, disponibile per ogni nostra necessità. Nonostante fossimo arrivati molto tardi a causa di un ritardo del volo ci hanno preparato la cena (piccola selezione di piatti locali, buoni). La colazione era buona e servita sul terrazzino. Ci hanno proposto un piccolo tour delle loro risaie all'alba e su nostra richiesta ci hanno fornito un autista per tutta la giornata per visitare la zona.

I appreciated especially the guest book with detailed information and the surprise dinner every night witch was exceptional, the helpful and friendly staff, the garden tour, hikes, workshops and closeness to nature. Also a highlight was yoga every morning with the sunrise. I never wanted to leave this place.
