Lovely friendly host, very clean house, you have use of a sitting room and small kitchen and there was tea and coffee available for guests, a lovely touch. Location was perfect for me, as it is near friends, but it's only a few mins drive from town.

Wow, Elizabeth, you have a gem of a property located close to town with lovely surrounding countryside. We arrived extremely late at night and you were there to welcome us, as tired as we were, we could not have asked for a better welcome. We had a wonderful room with all amenities and bathroom needs waiting for us. A wonderful night's sleep was had on a very comfortable bed. On our two days stay Elizabeth prepared a very personal breakfast for us each morning that was to die for. We left well fed for the day. With nice grounds to sit out in the sunshine or the guests personal reading room, adequate on-site parking. We wished we could have stopped longer but we had to head off to a certain Golf tournament that was being held at Royal Portrush. We look forward to returning at the first opportunity. Immersa nella campagna, a 10 minuti d'auto da Carrickmacross, l'incantevole Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse offre un ristorante e un parco con vista su una motta normanna risalente al 12°... The grounds were great, a small creek running thru, sheep in the pasture, the Inn itself was beautiful. Very well cared for. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and were happy to get us whatever we needed. The pub was where we spent many an hour where we were able to get some research work done. Fire in the fireplace every night. The dinner meals we had were yummy. Breakfast was also good with good choices. All said, it was a great four nights and we will be back!

It was just a brief visit for me but Áine's communication was perfect and they kindly accommodated my late arrival. I arrived late and left early so I've little more to say other than I enjoyed my brief stay. I really appreciated Áine leaving out some fruit and breakfast things in the room.
