SB homestay enjoys a location in Veer Savarkar International Airport, just 21 km from Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park and 45 km from Mount Harriet National Park. I was expecting a room but it was an Studio apartment, with kitchen, sink, dishes, no stove or pots, a coffee mug would be good. Spacious bathroom with towels, soap, no shampoo. New air conditioner, and ceiling fan. Desk table and chairs, nice closet. Beautiful tiled floor. Owner lives in one apartment and very helpful. It is a bit of an small hill, they help me with the luggage since I am a senior. 5 minutes to the airport. Great value. I will stay there again.

Ühise puhkeruumi ja järvevaatega Aqua Horizon asub Port Blairis, 16 km kaugusel Mahatma Gandhi merepargist ja 40 km kaugusel Mount Harrieti rahvuspargist. The rooms are clean and the host is so kind and helpful. He cleared all our doubts about the trip and guided us about the ferry and even booked ferry for us. He goes beyond the limits to help you out. I recommend staying with this host.

I really love Urbban Castle homestay. Everything is perfect, from the facilities and cleanliness to the friendly, helpful staff. So clean ... and absolutely NO bugs - I stayed for two weeks and did not see even a fly, or ant, or mosquito in the room at all. The bed was comfortable, the A/C and wifi both worked well. Shower has plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. There is free filtered water available which is so convenient and no need to buy bottled water. The atmosphere at Urbban Castle is relaxed, cheerful and uplifting. The staff are easily accessible and happy to help with any requests, including arranging laundry service, tours, ferry rides, taxis, etc for reasonable prices. The owner also went above and beyond to help me get a local Sim card. The owner speaks English clearly so he's easy to understand and I did not experience any problems with miscommunication. The location is quite central and convenient. There is a nursery school downstairs so in the mornings and early afternoon, the children can be noisy, but for me, this only added to the experience of staying in a local neighborhood in Port Blair. There's a peaceful backyard with different types of birds - I saw racket tailed Drongos, which was quite a thrill. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. The property takes security measures, but also the neighborhood is safe - I did not encounter any unfortunate or worrisome people or issues during my two week stay. I highly recommend Urbban Castle and have no complaints. I hope to stay here again when I am finished exploring the nearby islands and return to Port Blair for my departure flight.

Fantastic family run guesthouse/homestay, with clean rooms, along with very helpful staff! stayed here for 8 nights, and the family who run the place treat you as part of their own family, always checking if you are ok/need anything, sorting out all airport transfers, ferry, taxi, rickshaw and water sport bookings (for very good rates so you don’t get ripped off!). Relative to other guesthouses I have been to on my travels in India, I found the rooms to be clean, spacious and were mosquito free (they install the plug-in mosquito repellent). Bathroom shower also had good hot water supply. Rooms have air con and fan, which is great as it is hot/humid on the island. Food is available, and for lunch you can order from a local restaurant and they deliver to your room. For dinner, would highly recommend the homemade food, tastes fantastic and is fresh! Their tea is also very good! From the guesthouse, it’s a 10-15 min walk to main roads where there are hotels, fruit markets, shops etc. The best thing about this place is the family who run it. They were very welcoming, helped me to plan my trip, booked all ferries to other islands and water sport activities, and recommended restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

Great value for money, super location in the centre of Port Blair and really lovely staff. An easy walk to the main attractions.

You can see and hear the sea from the hotel. The people and staff really made my stay so comfortable. Amir, the host, went above and beyond to help me out and I am so grateful for the kindness. I booked again to stay there :)
