We enjoyed a very nice and relaxed stay with a very warm welcome from our very sympathetic host. She was a great cooker and helped us to make beautiful trips in the surroundings. We had a comfortable and separately room in the house of the family with balcony with garden-view and extra space for dinner and breakfast. The house is situated in a cosy area nearby the waterfalls. We would definately come back and recommend it.

The location was easily accessible (I took the bus from Allepey and you can request it to stop right in front of the hostel) The room was clean with a big window for ventilation. The 8 bedroom dorm has 2 bathrooms which is great! They provide a blanket, towel and there is handwash and body wash as well. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. A wide variety and really tasty. Food is great too and very reasonably priced. The hostel itself has beautiful views, a pool table, jacuzzi and Carrom board on the upper level. The service was also amazing. Jerry is a great host and helped me organise trips as well as helped ask my bus driver to stop in front of the hostel on the day I left to Kochi! I highly recommend staying here, I would easily come back!

We really appreciated the warm hospitality and the help we got from Abin and his parents to arrange activities and transports. The homestay was beautifully located in the calm Flower valley, wonderful to listen to all birds singing at sunrise. All beautiful flowers around the homestay. 1/2 hour tuk-tuk ride to Munnar center from which our hiking activities started. Homestay host provided very good dinner for us in the afternoons. We had a nice walk from the homestay through small village up to a view-point close to the homestay.

The room is clean and has a beautiful mountain view, it makes us super comfortable and relaxing here. The hosts are very nice and prepare delicious breakfast for us. We enjoyed a great stay at Green Tea View, definitely recommend it.

My stay at this homestay was truly amazing. You know that special feeling when you are somewhere new but it feels just like home, and you already know you would love to return? That’s exactly how it felt here. The room was very clean, and the views from the balcony were simply breathtaking. Benny and his family were extremely welcoming and kind, and the food was delicious. Benny helped me with everything — from arranging a driver to recommending activities and extra attractions. It was a perfect stay. I can honestly say this was one of the highlights of my trip to Kerala, and I left with wonderful memories.

Very beautiful surroundings with waterfall and swimming possibilities, clean and cozy room and absolutely delicious homemade Kerala food. It is easy to go to Munnar by local bus, car or tuk tuk. The owners are so friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to go and what to do. They helped us book a half day hike with a guide in the tea plantations, which was very beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend to stay at Thoppil homestay!

We extended our stay here to spend 4 nights….and so glad we did…we needed ‘calm’ and got it!! Joe and his family couldn’t have been more accommodating and engaging. Super nice:) The breakfast was perfect and dinner each night was wonderful…and they catered to my daughter’s dietary requests. The morning mist views from the balcony were beautiful and all necessities were provided in the rooms. Joe helped arrange activities and transportation but we never felt rushed or ‘planned’. It was a perfect end to a crazy busy India itinerary.

A lovely host family and beautiful homestay tucked away off the main road south of Munnar. The rooms are comfortable, clean and connect to a lovely sitting area surrounded by trees. A delicious breakfast made by the host was a real treat. Also has secure parking and was a perfect place to head out and explore on my motorcycle. Highly recommended.
