We had a lovely stay at Maliyeckal Homestay. It was around 45 minutes (by bus) south of Munnar, in a peaceful natural area. The room was comfortable, and it was nice having our own balcony in addition to the shared terrace. However, we loved spending time on the terrace and meeting fellow travellers. We enjoyed all of our meals there, and loved that there was some kitchen amenities so you could make your own coffee & tea. The family were very kind and hospitable, and we enjoyed hanging out with Jaan, their youngest son. Jaan took us to a local swim spot which was wonderful. If you're looking for a local experience, and spending time in nature away from the main tourist spots, this is a great place to stay.

The owners were very friendly and nice, they tried to offer help all the time, at the end they took us to see their plantation in the woods and it was so interesting and fun.

The hostel is clean and beautiful, the view is outstanding. The staff are so nice and welcoming, offering the best service in all terms. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hot water anytime. The rooftop jacuzzi is amazing even during semi cold weather. The breakfast is very good.

Istumisnurgaga Flower Valley Plantation Homestay asub Munnaris, Munnari teemuuseumist 20 km ja Cheeyappara joast 24 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja välikamin. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and the help we got from Abin and his parents to arrange activities and transports. The homestay was beautifully located in the calm Flower valley, wonderful to listen to all birds singing at sunrise. All beautiful flowers around the homestay. 1/2 hour tuk-tuk ride to Munnar center from which our hiking activities started. Homestay host provided very good dinner for us in the afternoons. We had a nice walk from the homestay through small village up to a view-point close to the homestay.

My favourite homestay travelling India! The hospitality from Thomas and his family is exceptional - they were incredibly helpful with recommendations and arranging travel. I appreciated the regular check-ins to see if I wanted a cup of tea during my stay! I stayed in the Mountain View Room which had stunning views of the mountains and tea plantation below. I thoroughly enjoyed reading my book and meditating on the balcony. It is such a peaceful place. I loved the dinners in the evening cooking by Thomas' wife which were delicious, and an opportunity to sit and chat with other travellers. It had a lovely communal feel as a solo traveller. Wifi was strong as I was working remotely. Overall a great value stay.

It's a really nice hotel in the middle of nature. We stayed in a wooden cabin, which was simple but cosy. The view from our balcony was amazing. The pool offered a lovely refreshment in the morning, and the breakfast was an interesting experience every day as they served local dishes. What makes this place special is its hospitality - it's a family business, and they make you feel like. You.

One of the most picturesque places we’ve visited in India. The perfect spot to fully recharge after a few weeks of travel. Room was comfortable, hosts were very helpful and breakfast and dinner were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed staying away from the busy city where we could sit outside reading our books in the sunshine listening to the birds. Bliss!

A lovely host family and beautiful homestay tucked away off the main road south of Munnar. The rooms are comfortable, clean and connect to a lovely sitting area surrounded by trees. A delicious breakfast made by the host was a real treat. Also has secure parking and was a perfect place to head out and explore on my motorcycle. Highly recommended.
