Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

He has tools for fixing bikes and everything is so clean inside the room. I could also make my laundry without the need to go find a coin laundry. He sells beers and also serves tea. He is very kind and great guide to know the best around the island. I could store my bike safely inside his place.

1 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw is located in Onomichi and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The host was amazing! He gave us some fresh fruit from his garden that tasted amazing and offered to drive us to the ferry twice! We can only recommend this guesthouse, everything was great!

The guesthouse was quaint, artistic, and impeccably clean. The owner, Katsumori san, is kind and very detail-oriented, and you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into running this guesthouse. I loved my stay here, it was the highlight of my trip.

The location is simply stunning, the guesthouse sits peacefully on the seafront of tranquil Mukaishima Island, surrounded by lush vegetation and easily accessible by car. It's the perfect destination if you're cycling along the Shimanami Kaido. Youko is an incredible host, warm, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for bike rentals, local restaurants, and activities, and every day left thoughtful notes at reception highlighting events happening in the area. When we accidentally left our backpack (with passports inside!) at the guesthouse, she promptly mailed it to our next destination without hesitation. Our 8-year-old daughter, Alice, loved the play area in the communal dining space, bouncing on the trampoline in the garden, and meeting the resident animals: friendly sheep, two charming cats, and Maroon, the adorable dog. The property itself is spotless. We stayed in one of the Japanese-style rooms, which felt spacious by Japanese standards, and offered spectacular views over the bay. The rooftop terrace was another highlight for us. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here, it’s truly a special place.

We loved to stay at this traditional Japanese house, the common living room is so nice and there is a piano😍 the futon bed was very comfortable. I was a bit afraid before, as I am used to sleeping on soft mattresses. But it was great! There is a second mattress that you can tuck under the futon. We slept very well.

Featuring a balcony with sea views, a garden and a shared lounge, 鞆の浦ゲストハウス悠樂 Tomonoura Guest House You Raku can be found in Fukuyama, close to Tomonotsu Museum and 1.5 km from Tomonoura Museum of... The location is very good, right on the beachfront, and the view of the sunrise is wonderful; it's right outside the hotel's front window, behind an island. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
