This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property. This was the best value for money stay I had this trip. Highly recommend opting for dinner to be included with your stay. The steamed vegetables and meat with rice and soup was a sumptuous, healthy yet delicious meal especially at the end of a day's big hike. The dorm beds were comfortable, and it was a really nice luxury to get a private onsen experience (especially the outdoor one). Though there was no convenience store around, the hostel has a very good range of snacks, instant noodles, buns at good prices so you don't have to worry about not having food around.

Featuring a terrace, the 2-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The accommodation provides a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. The appartement in which I stayed is fully equipped (kitchen/ shower and toilet). Additionally it is quite big, you also get a small living room and a place to work which is simply fantastic. The staff is super nice, I wanted to extend my stay and without any problems they helped me do it

Great Japanese breakfast and the room was super comfy and clean! Would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay, walkable distance to train stations. Great amenities, worth the money

The property is around 1.9 km from Kozan-ji Temple, 6.3 km from Tanabe City Museum of Art and 7.9 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall. Heisogen Park is 13 km from the guest house and Saki-no-Yu Onsen Spa is 13 km away. Mayumi was an excellent host and very helpful in arranging for my luggage to be shipped. It's clear she is a very experienced host and her soufflé cakes are delicious!

The house itself is beautiful Japanese classic house, however all facilities are modern and clean!!! Down town and Hayatama shrine are located in really walkable distance from the guest house.

It is located 46 km from Shiraha Shrine and provides luggage storage space. The guest house has family rooms. Great place to stay. Ken made us feel very comfortable. The house has all amenities and necessary things on the kitchen.

The food was the best that I had on my trip, they had Japanese cuisine mixed with Italian techniques, the drinks were also great. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The vibes of the room and the whole house were unique. Plus, if you are doing the Kumano Kodo, Nonagase Guest House is right on the path and so you don't have to take a detour and the nearest shop is like a 10 minute walk.

Great apartment style hotel in a quiet area, reasonably priced and right next to an Osaka Loop Line train station (Shin-Imamiya) The area the hotel is located in is also super quiet
