Cute location next to a small river in a quiet neighborhood. The room was spacious, seperate bathroom and toilet and a nice view from the window. The entry to the building and room is by code so you don't always have to bring an annoying keycard with you. There was free bottled water in the lobby. The host Kevin gave us all important information via Whatsapp and even offered to drive us to the station at the end of our stay.

The guest house features family rooms. We had an exceptional stay at this wonderful property! The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet and clean area, yet just a short walk from the shopping district. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist us with any needs or queries. The property itself was immaculately maintained, with tidy surroundings and daily towel changes and rubbish collection. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can't thank our hosts enough for their warm hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.3 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. It was one of the best and cosiest places I ever stayed. Linda really takes care that you have everything you need and you are comfortable, and provides tips to enjoy Kyoto, info about events, etc. It really felt warm and a special experience. We also took the evening tour with Lee around the Geisha neighborhoods and were glad to spot some! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto.

Incredible old guesthouse, with a very welcoming host. Had an amazing stay, can only highly recommend!

We stayed in the room with the garden view and loved every moment of our stay. The morning breakfast by the fire overlooking the garden was the highlight of the trip. The afternoon tea and snack was also a great treat!

Lovely spacious rooms and living spaces. Cafe was open all day and served good coffee , beer and food. The staff were also super helpful with recommendations.

Haruka and her husband made us feel welcome from the moment we booked our dates, and they even provided helpful instructions on how to get there from our previous location (Nara). Haruka also gave us some nice recommendations and tips on what to do in Kyoto during our short stay. To top it off, they even gave us a ride to our bus stop in our last night. They are wonderful people.

Emiko and her family had great English and the inn was very welcoming and comfortable. I was even driven to Kyoto station once my stay was complete which was a great help. Excellent value for money and a ideal location to see many nearby temples and shrines. Lots of nature sightseeing opportunities close by as well. I highly recommend a stay at Kyo-Anthu Inn!

Super clean, check in/out process was easy, no doubt on the security, the location is near to Kujo Kawaramachi bus stop, Tofukuji station and only approx 1.2km from Kyoto station. Reception is very informative.
