We stayed in our own 2 person hut with a little balcony that had comfortable seats and a hammock, ideal for relaxing; almost read my entire book! We went kayaking one day, following the Green Cathedral trail. The kayaks were provided free of charge by the accommodation. They brought us fresh fruit and cold water every time we appeared in the common area which was equally as colorful. Their hospitality was wholesome, welcoming and extremely helpful, especially when we needed to organize transport to our next destination. I cannot fault this place. I would strongly recommend a stay.

This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. We loved Hidden Oasis for the super cute, very clean and comfortable bungalows and the wonderful couple who run it! It's exactly as pictured. Also the sheets were the softest we've had in Asia, and the beds nice and not hard like many places. The bathroom is larger than expected. There is a drinking water fountain you can refill at reception. We would highly recommend staying here in Kampot. The owners are super sweet and kind. We rented a motorbike from here and it made getting around easy. Pro tip: we went to nearby hotel Sokchea Kampot Hotel and were able to bargain to use their nice pool from $5 down to $3 per person, towels provided.

Guests can take in the views of the pool from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. The homestay offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. We have spent 11 amazing days at Baksaei and we had a wonderful time! The location is absolutely stunning within a rice field surrounded by beautiful views of mountains, greenery and village-life atmosphere. The bonus is that you are still a short tuk-tuk ride into town, so very convenient too as you can keep the balance of being in the country side but very close to everything that the town has to offer. The house is clean, spacious and very very well equipped. We have been travelling and working remotely for a few years now and I can say that this place is a great combination of comfort, security, amenities and relaxation. This means that you can easily work from the house (great Wi-Fi and comfortable working spaces), relax on the balcony reading, practicing yoga or just watching the view or chill at the pool watching sunset and birds, cook your own meals at fully-fully equipped kitchen or order food from Grab if you feel like it- we even had 2 BBQs during our stay. It is very quiet around and we slept so well during our entire stay- huge surprise was how breezy it was even during May as we could sleep with windows open and no AC was needed even though available! Meghan, the host, is such a kind and open hearted person who is so passionate about her place and full heartedly dedicated to offer the most complete experience and make sure that nothing is missing- she had done such an amazing job making the place truly comfortable and achieving this sense of chill that we are all looking for. It was hard to leave and we could stay much longer but we already had a whole plan in place so would probably be back again. We stayed as a couple and recommend it for any individual, couple or family who are seeking peace, quiet, relaxion and connection to the country side.
