It's situated in a charming local neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants and bars. Ellen's house is spacious, featuring a large lobby where you can work, relax, or enjoy a coffee—Ellen even has a real coffee maker! The entrance is impeccably clean, just like the rest of the house. The room only had a fan, but that wasn't an issue; the window with a net screen provided fantastic ventilation. The cold water in the bathroom wasn't as cold as you might expect, but it was at a pleasant temperature. If you need hot water in a shower, it's conveniently available downstairs, there is bathroom you can use. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare a sandwich or slice some fruit to enjoy on a plate. Everything is tidy and user-friendly. You can also make free refill of your bottles! And there is also a fridge to store your meal / cool your bottles... You can pay by card upon your arrival at the property. It's just a short walk from the pier, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase; a backpack is much more practical due to the lack of regular roads. One of the highlights of M'Pai village is definitely the food. There are numerous fantastic restaurants! After my experience in Koh Rong, where finding good food was a challenge, this felt like a culinary paradise. Seapony is perfect for breakfast, while Dragonfly is great for drinks and light meals—especially their baba ganoush with flatbread! I ended up extending my stay because the location was simply wonderful. For 5usd you can take a water taxi to other beaches but I prefered M´Pai vibes.

Friend of Nature Bungalow is a recently renovated guest house in Koh Rong Island, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a water park. The accommodation features a business centre, room service and currency exchange for guests. Located in a magical place (mangrove forest), among locals. The bungalow is simple, which in my opinion is the best way to enjoy the environment surrounding it. The bed was confortable and had a mosquito net. The fan was all I needed to keep the room fresh at night. The shower had a good flow. The hammock on the balcony, with a view on the mangrove, was exceptional! Volunteering is possible there - teaching English to kids, planting mangrove plants, etc. Lonely beach, a stunning place, is close enough to access on foot (I did it a few times). Good restaurants also close by. Above all, Johney, the owner is funny, extremely helpful and kind, he drove me around several times 🥹 I wish I could’ve stay there longer. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic place to stay in Koh Rong, go there!

The place is a bit difficult to find, once found, it's easy to just stay there. The host Johnny is also very helpful with arranging scooters or anything else.

Situated in Kaôh Rŭng (4), Blondies Koh Rong Bungalow features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Rooms include a patio with garden views. - early check in and late check out. Thanks to John we gained 1,5days of out time in the island <3 - location of Blondies is at the end of the infrastructure, so it was calmly there, - great restaurant nearby - room was specious, bed was comfy - there was a fridge in a room and huge jug of water which was super helpful because we didn't have to buy water throughout our stay - John told us about wonderful snorkeling place and lent us glasses for free, so we had a wonderful time watching fish

At the homestay, every unit has bed linen and towels. Sam was the best host ever, she knew the best spots for snorkelling, where to go to see the plankton at night, best places to eat in town, best routes for hiking. MPai Bay is a small place but we would have had to go on private tours to do all the things we did if we hadn't had Sam's advice.

Each room is fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. The location was perfect. Nice and close to the main section but in the forest where it is nice, quite and peaceful

It is situated less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and offers luggage storage space. The rooms are fitted with a patio with views of the quiet street. Mela is an amazing host at this guesthouse. She thinks of everything for the customers, and she is a great cook. Mela is also super helpful answering questions and helping with anything you need.

Set within 400 metres of Victory Beach and 6.2 km of Serendipity Beach Pier, Paradise Cozy Guesthouse Sihanoukville features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sihanoukville. It is situated 17 km from Kbal Chhay Waterfalls and provides a 24-hour front desk. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Perfect. The best place we have been so far in our trip. Everything new and clean. Staff really helpful and polite.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the homestay. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.

Guests at the homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Koh Rong Sanloem, like hiking. Location is a bit further from "center" so it's more quiet. And nothing is really far anyway. Large mosquito net and comfy bed. Friendly owner, Simon even lent me some fishing gear.
