Highly recommended to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

We also went fishing with Manu. Breakfast is plentiful and good. The rooms were very clean. The location is excellent since it is close to the centre but in a quiet area. And it is also very close to the beach. I highly recommend the place.

Situé à Tangalle et offrant une vue sur le jardin, l’établissement Tanzanite place possède un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et un restaurant. In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

L’établissement JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place se trouve à Tissamaharama, à 2,1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tissa Wewa. Sunethra est adorable et nous a accueilli au top et a pris soin de nous ! Elle donne des supers conseils de visite de Tissa et ses alentours. Le petit déjeuner au bord de la rivière est génial. On est parti en Safari au parc de Yala avec leur agence. Super guide et conducteur ! Notre chambre était immense et très confortable. Côté route il y a de la circulation mais la nuit bcp moins. Lovely hosts, great breakfast, the room was large and very clean, short walk to the beach and nice to cool off in the the brand new pool!

Chambre très propre. La maison est située juste au bord du lac où, le soir, des chauves-souris géantes quittent les grands arbres pour chercher leur nourriture. Les repas étaient très bons. La ville est à 1 km à pied, mais la visite est plus agréable si on loue un vélo ou un scooter. Grâce à l'hôte, qui m'a accompagné avec sa voiture, j'ai visité de nombreux temples. Tissa est un village unique, avec de grandes rizières et une vie bouddhiste très forte. Les touristes devraient venir plus nombreux ! Very clean room. The house is located right on the lake where, in the evening, giant bats leave the big trees to look for food. The meals were very good. The city is 1 km away on foot, but the visit is more pleasant if you rent a bike or scooter. Thanks to the host, who accompanied me with his car, I visited many temples. Tissa is a unique village, with large rice fields and a very strong Buddhist life. More tourists should come!

The property is located down a quiet street near a bus stop station and about a 15 minute walk from a grocery store and local restaurants. We were welcomed by the owners (husband and wife) and they offered us a welcome drink and showed us a booklet that provided information of all there is to see in Tangalle. The room was spacious and clean! We had breakfast here, cooked by the family and it was so beautiful of a breakfast. You can tell they put their love into it. Upon checkout, the family gave us advice for our next destination and even a snack for the road! The husband accompanied us to the bus station and helped hail down the bus and spoke with the man that drove it. It really eased our nerves because the busses aren’t marked and they FLY by so he was a huge help. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
