Staying there was the best decision I made in this trip. Not only the hotel facilities were perfect, but also Saman and his family were really friendly and helpful. They helped me with arranging everything and gave me ideas for planning my trip. It wasn’t like staying in a hotel, it was more like being hosted by a local family ❤️ If you’re staying in Sigiriya you should definitely choose this location. Extremely clean, spacious room with pool view. Pool was great! There is a lake also at the property. Management was helpful and friendly. Amazing safari was also arranged by them. Food at property is also great!

Amazing location in the middle of the forest. The sounds of nature are just out of this world and you can spot all kinds of animals from your bungalow. Can be intimidating for a person traveling alone but also very very fascinating. Loved the breakfast and the kindness of all staff members. I miss the peace already!

Very friendly owners! They make you feel welcome right away. They suggested several activities in the area and arranged a tuktuk for us. They were ready to answer questions and help out at any time and made sure we were ok. Breakfast is great and varies every day with local dishes. Swimming pool is very nice to relax after a hot day.

Everything’s was perfect, Kumari puts her whole heart in making your stay perfect. We ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much! Make sure you try some of her cooking for the dinner as it’s better than many restaurants we’ve tried. Also, she will help you organize anything from a local tuk tuk, Safari to a taxi ride further away! Thanks so much for having us!

A homestay with one room for travellers. (There is a second for drivers.) The facility is one year old (March 2025). Spacious neat room and new bathroom. A terrace with an outdoor lounge, with a lot of plants and decoration from local craft. The host Samanti has made much effort to make a cosy place of the homestay. Very quiet place - you hear only the sound of birds. Tea, coffee and drinking water the whole day. Extensive and delicious breakfast and dinner. The husband is also tuktukdriver. Both are very friendly, sincere and caring. They make the house to a little paradise in Sigiriya.

I loved sleeping in a forest-like environment. I really missed it, and this treehouse was a lovely stay in that regard. The noise/sounds/music from the forest at night is the best. We really enjoyed everything: the treehouse, the view on the rock, the Loris tour at night, the breakfasts/lunches/dinners, and the simple but clean facilities, the safari... Make sure to discuss with the host about the different activities you can do around the rock (time, price, etc.). The host will help you out the best that he can, including dropping you at 5am at the bottom of the rock if necessary! Very kind family, business encouraged, I would come back there 100%.
