Ils ont organisé un safari et nous n'avons pas été déçus nous avons vu de nombreux oiseaux, deux ours ainsi que de nombreux autres animaux sauvages. Nous avons même aperçu un léopard un peu caché dans les herbes. Le chauffeur était expérimenté et nous laissait le temps de prendre des photos. Le fils de la GH nous a accompagné nous servant de guide. Il est charmant.Diner correct et bon à un prix plus que convenable.

Such an amazing start to our Sri Lanka trip - dinners are so good here!! Different meal served each night. On the first night we had a selection of authentic Sri Lankan curry and rice that was incredible. The pool area is clean, relaxing and the rooms are big and clean. Hotel manager and all staff are very accommodating providing everything we need including bicycles which were a great way to explore the area.

The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

Wonderful cabins in the forest very quiet and relaxing cool swim in the river. The staff were very kind and helpful when I had a migraine. They made the food more spicy for my husband. The owner is very helpful and interesting to talk too, they have done a great job of keeping the place part of the jungle. They organised a safari for us which was really nice we didn't see too many other jeeps and even managed to see a leopard.

The host Bassam genuinely went out of his way to ensure things went very smoothly. He offered to pick me up from the bus station, took me out for dinner in his tuktuk, then took me out for a site seeing your of the local area and to his coconut farm where he fed me fresh tropical fruits for breakfast! The room is very comfortable, clean, absolutely no complaints. Shower works well, internet is fast and smooth, and the AC is icy cold. Couldn't have asked for a better stop off point in Puttalam than Just Inn.

We spent a week there, and their genuine kindness truly left a lasting impression. We're so grateful for the extra care they showed us throughout our stay.

If you want to go to Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect accommodation. We booked The Sanctuary half an hour before arriving and we were warmly greeted at the door by the owner Siraj. Siraj's passion for environmental protection is incredible. His knowledge of the ecology of the area is huge. Siraj and his team provided us with first class hospitality, beautiful food and a fully organized safari we will never forget (for a very competitive price). Extras like plentiful home grown bananas, a night tour of the grounds (seeing flying foxes and mouse deer) and free photos of what we saw on safari were the icing on the cake. It was a privilege to have stayed at The Sanctuary and we left enriched. I would not hesitate to return here in future.

We loved everything about this hotel and fantastic family running it. I would say that the stay exceeded all our expectations. Hotel is beautiful, all the furniture, room size, lobby, cleanliness all to very high standard. Food i cannot even describe because it was soooo good. Close to the beach and shops. I would definitely recommend to everyone. We will definitely visit again. Thank you so much Xxxx
