We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa 821. Our room was spacious and well-designed, in a minimal but contemporary style. It had many great features - a comfortable bed, lots of storage space, wonderful bath amenities, a large shower with hot water. On the top floor terrace, a shared kitchen was provided with complimentary cold breakfast items. In addition to all of this, Andy and her team were very helpful and friendly. A great place to stay while enjoying the beautiful city of Oaxaca!

The hotel is a renovated old family house, done with a great eye for detail. Comments said that the neighborhood is noisy and it’s true but we asked for a room with a window to the inner patio and has no issues with noise at all. The owner Edgar and the hotel staff were so friendly, they made us feel very much at home and very comfortable.

Great bed and shower. Perfect location, quiet but close to downtown and beaches. Magnolia is a very attentive and helpful host. We would have stayed longer if the room would have been available.
