This place was a true haven in the most amazing location - close to the tourist hub, but in a calm and quiet place where you can't hear any of the noise. We could sit out in our balcony/bathroom area and watch sunbirds flying about in the flowers and peer down into the laneways behind. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing vintage movie posters. Our host Winnie was kind, generous and responsive to messages. We loved entering the building through the plants, walking through the gorgeous cafe and up the stairs to our room. A perfect little romantic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and hope to come back.

Steven was so friendly. He was waiting for us with a big smile on his face. He even prepared the map of Malacca with the whole highlights of the city. He explained every detail about the places we have to visit. We got from him a few addresses of different kind of restaurants in the city cuz we're vegetarian. You can use the wash machine and the fridge for free. There is also hot and cold water for drinking. The location is just in the heart of the city. Finally he drove us to the main bus station. You will never regret your staying at the one vacation home. Thanks Steven for everything!

The room is very clean and homely decorated. The owner is kind and helpful. She allowed me to check in before the regular check in hour. There are grocery store, restaurants, fruit stand, and laundry facility (using coin) within 10 minutes walking. There is a small communal kitchen on the first floor equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, water filter, and some utensils. That is very convenient.

We stayed at this homestay for 3 nights and it is run by Maria and her husband. Maria is super kind , nice and friendly and helped us in every way she could. She gave us many good advice like where to exchange money with best rate. The room is spotlessly clean, even for the public area, kitchen, washroom, etc, are all tidy. The main advantage of the homestay is it’s close to the red square(3 min walk). You even can come back to take a nap and have a shower in hot afternoon.
