From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with nothing but warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The Space: The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of socialising with friends. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was cozy and inviting. The Host: Our host was exceptional! We love staying where we can interact with the host and have meaningful conversations about the world and life experiences. Heather was so accommodating in this area as we chatted about the concepts of the world and what our future holds. To this day, Heather still messages making sure that we are ok and dare I say, she has become one of our friends, thankful to this trip. Location: Nestled in a charming neighbourhood, the location was perfect for us to be able to visit friends and to local shops. It was a peaceful area and offered a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everything. Overall experience: I can't wait to return. I miss Heather already. I miss her home already. Enchanted Escape is a recently renovated guest house in Picton, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 2 km from Picton Memorial Park Beach. This is a dream property with amazing hosts. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the gate. They have created such cozy spaces for guests and the provide great amenities like coffee and tea, toast and other small breakfast items. I appreciated the small fridge in the room, pressure in the shower and how quiet it was at night. I also walked to town and it was easy and fun. There’s a lot to do in this part of the world! Set in Picton, Marlborough region, Koru Havenz is situated 1.8 km from Shelley Beach. The property has garden and city views, and is 1.5 km from Picton Memorial Park Beach. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. The hosts provided milk, tea, coffee, and a bonus snack of two muffins--very much appreciated. The beds were comfortable, the location quiet and perfect for catching the early morning ferry the next day.

By far, one of the most comfortable accommodations we experienced on our 26 day odyssey around the South Island. We enjoyed the solitude, warmth, and excellent facilities available to guests. The owner welcomed us with open arms, and could not have been more helpful upon our arrival.

It was a beautiful house overlooking the Marlborough Valley from up on the Brancott Ridge. Karla was a gracious host and helped us decide on restaurants, wineries and things to see and do. We would highly recommend the property.

Located in Endeavour Inlet in the Marlborough region, Tawa Cove Cabins features a balcony. Situated on the beachfront, this property has water sports facilities, a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. The guest house has private entrance. We had a great time staying with Prue and Don and look forward to returning in the future! Serene/ quiet location, very clean cabins and bathroom with complementary soaps etc, lovely friendly hosts, nice breakfast, cute friendly dog Oscar, use of free kayaks, well equipped kitchen and Spa pool and use of dart board!

DDOG Vineyard & BnB is situated in Renwick and offers barbecue facilities. The property has mountain and river views. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Location is superb nestled in the middle of a vineyard, lots of solitude and quiet time, garden areas to explore, woken by birds chattering. The cedar barn itself is big with all the modern amenities except an oven although you can use the microwave as one. Welcome package was appreciated, owners were great and not at all intrusive. Absolutely beautiful, somewhat remote and very quiet.

The bed was super comfortable, water glasses and a fan and bedside power. Bathroom was beautiful. I was only able to stay one night. It I would for sure stay there again
