Had a small fridge I could store a beer and milk for my coffee in the morning. Juan was great. Room was great and nicely sized shower. I loved to watch the street view and wasn’t bothered by the noise. They have foam on shutters if that does bother you. Oh and there is a small place to view the city on 5th floor.

Situated in the centre of Coimbra, 300 metres from University of Coimbra, the historic Solar Antigo Luxury Coimbra features accommodation with free WiFi and a shared lounge. It is located less than 1 km from S. Sebastião Aqueduct and provides full-day security. The guest house has family rooms. Everything was what we expected for our couple's escape. The bed was astonishingly comfortable and with a classy touch on it. The view of the bedroom was great, you could see the whole city centre. The bathroom and the hot tub were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and it could be described as a "melange" of flavours available. From cereal, to fruits and amazing breads available, you could even get your own chocolate milk with the materials they gave you. Also to not forget, that we were received with champagne and homemade cake made by the hotel staff. The staff members were very helpful and welcoming! To summarize 5 out of 5 stars in our humble opinion, can't wait to be back!

Though out-of-the-way if you're walking the Camino, it is well worth it for the experience. We hiked to Condeixa-a-nova and took a taxi to the location. We were greeted by the owner, Tino, who was very friendly, gracious, and hospitable. Our room was great with a nice bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a balcony to sit outside. The kitchen, dining room and living room were lovely and everything very, very clean. It is out in the country with a huge olive grove all around and other trees and plants. Very relaxing setting. I highly recommend this place. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and are so glad we did.
