The property is more like a spar than just a hotel. The place is so relaxing and interesting architecturally but also with tasteful bits and pieces everywhere you look. Set in mature quiet grounds which were great for walking our dog and getting away from motorway 'mode' before travelling onwards. The manageress, 'Patricia' (I think her name is) is very professional and a great host. Breakfast is oooh so good - I honestly did not want to leave.

The place is extremely, extremely clean. All design details are carefully coordinated, from the embroided towels to the tableware to the curtains. It’s clear that the owners love what they’re doing and they’re taking care of their place with immense carefulness and love. The host was incredibly sweet and helpful, and the terrace downstairs to watch the stars from was a great add-on. We can highly recommend this place!
