This is such a beautiful hostel in the heart of Cairns! Perfect location, just behind the main shopping mall, the pool and outdoor shower are a TREAT, and everything is spotless! I had such a comfortable stay here at Traveller's Oasis and will be coming back!

Everything! Tim and Paul are amazing, they just go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and help you at whatever you need! The rest of the staff is super friendly as well, it doesn't feel like a hostel, it has more like a homy vibe to it! The place itself it's beautiful! There are actual beds in the room, plenty of toilets and showers around and two kitchens!!

There is easy close access to Cairns Central shopping centre completely opposite Travellers Paradise. There is a really nice pool and big screen television and it is comfortable at Travellers Paradise, and easy close access to nearby shops and businesses and so on and the Cairns city main area.

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided.

I had an incredible stay at this hostel ! The location is simply perfect, close to everything you might need. The kitchen is a real asset, very well equipped with even an oven ! The pool with its hammock creates a very relaxing tropical atmosphere. Plus, the rooms are nice and comfortable, adding to the overall experience. But what really makes this place special is the convivial atmosphere between guests and the staff: always there to help with a smile, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this youth hostel to anyone looking for a memorable stay !

The location, the staff, the rooms, shared spaces - everything was great! I definitely did not expect that, and this hostel just exceeded my expectations.

Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City...

After staying in a room I switched to an apartment and it was perfect. Newly-refurbished and with lots of space and all of the amenities necessary to make the stay enjoyable.

In the evening, there was an introduction to Aboriginal culture. The performance is so great! It was a very beautiful tone. I want to go to Australia and listen to that music again.

Location is fantastic. Even though there is a full on party till 1AM or 3AM I could hardly hear it, same with the kitchen noise. Front desk staff are fantastic and they are happy to store excess luggage during your stay or between stays.
