The staff were excellent especially Nahuel who was very helpful and spoke English which made things alot easier for me 😊 The location is great, right across from the beach and there is a lovely restaurant on the corner a few doors down to the left. The hostel booked a tour for me but unfortunately due to weather it was cancelled, this could not be avoided. They had a lot of information on trips. The accommodation was very comfortable and I had a great experience here. Breakfast was basic but very nice.

Functional hotel walking distance from pelhouriño, so very comfortable position. The receptionist was kind and welcoming, he spoke only Portuguese but we understood each other somehow. Room was clean, bed comfortable and air conditioning worked fine! Good complimentary coffee in the morning. I worked very ok for my short passage in Salvador!

I loved literally everything. I have stayed in many hostels and guesthouses around the world in many continents, but this one really stands out. It is probably my favourite place I have ever been to. If this place is available, BOOK IT NOW! Amazing location in the heart of the Cultural centre, fantastic people, warm and social hosts as well as special guests. The location is very nice, right next to Pelourinho place. Small hostel, simple, efficient, good value for money.

Really good value for money! It's located in a small street but you are close from Rio Vermelho from one side, and the end of the carnaval on the other (we went by foot there). The rooftop view is great, with incredible sunset on the ocean. Rooms are a bit small but equipped with air conditioning and lockers (you can't fit your bag but at least your objects of value). It was clean, smelling good (essential oils), bathroom was functioning and I never had to queue. Easy check in and check out with nice staff.

Conveniently set in the centre of Salvador, Bahia Pelô Hostel is within 2.5 km of MAM Beach and 500 metres of Pelourinho.
