A very nice tiny Hostel with great staff. Perfect for the arrival or pre-departure night. I had a single room which had a very nice interior. The breakfast was typical Costa Rican. I will come again :)

I'm happy I chose this place. I was a bit afraid after reading comments from previous guests but the hostel was really great and I don't get these comments at all (probably other guests visited it in its worse time :P). The room was big and comfy. It was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great if you need to stay near to the airport. Everything was fine :)).

I loved the location of the hostel, in Bario escalante, which is safe and vibrant. Communication with the host was great and I very much appreciate all the info about busses and transport to make the most out of my limited time in Costa Rica. There are enough showers, sinks and toilets on the corridor, I never had to wait to use one. The space is clean, with high ceiling and airy. I loved the fact that they have paper towels and the whole digital codes with clear instructions on what to use where.

Such a nice place to stay! The owner and his family are lovely, and they wanted to create somewhere where they would also be happy to stay. The beds are really comfortable and have curtains and a plug socket and light. There are two bathrooms in the dorm (with hot water), and you are given a towel. There's different breakfast every day. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My stay at Ester's Place was just great! The host was VERY friendly and accommodating. I picked the location because of its proximity to CIMA where I was scheduled to have some dental work. The medical complex is a short, enjoyable walk through a nice, safe neighborhood, which allowed me to save on parking fees. My room was spacious, secure, and comfortable, with everything I needed, and Ester was only a text message away if I had any questions. I will definitely stay here again!!

Wow, what an amazing place! Excellent value for money. Great staff, we stayed in the room upstairs - it was quiet with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and filling, coffee available all day long and filtered water as well. Lots of "lounging" space throughout the hostel. Also, the park was just few blocks away - another bonus! We liked it so much, that we are going to stay in their another location in Managua!
