Great place, extremely clean, the lady looking after the common space/kitchen/reception by night was like a cleaning machine, and always here to help as well if you have any question. The kitchen also has every tools you could need. Clean bedroom and hot water in the shower!

Must Stay!! So cozy when the weather is bad, and when the weather is good have access to a big deck with look out over valley. Beds are comfy with curtains. Delish pancake breakfast. Yir is so so lovely, one of best and friendliest hostels I have stayed in all year. Big equiped kitchen, lots of boardgames to play and all info of what to do in town. Watch toucans and monkeys and parrots while you have breakfast.

This was an excellent hostel for the price, so much beyond my expectations considering what we paid for it! Our room was really cozy, although our bathroom lacked hot water (not that uncommon in CR though so we weren’t too worried about it), plus the shared bathroom had a really nice, hot shower so I just used that one. The breakfasts were hot and delicious! One member of staff was less friendly, but he made us the most delicious pancakes for breakfast - so we forgave him instantly! The kitchenette was fully stocked, and the fridge was kept clean and had lots of space - made it very easy to cook our own meals. For the price, in my opinion this can’t be beaten, there are a couple of quirks but there always are with budget hostels. Also, the outside space had the most spectacular view! I highly recommend this place! :)

The room is great, the bed was very comfortable and the hot water was great. The staff was lovely and helped me coordinate tours and transportation.
