I would stay again at Hostel Füssen. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Clean throughout. Good-size room with small table and a couple chairs. A strong heater for the cool fall weather. The location: perhaps a six-minute walk to the train station; just a couple blocks from the downtown area; and, a few blocks to a good grocery store. (A quick stroll as well to the Bayrish Pub, where I enjoyed a good evening with welcoming locals.) Shared bathroom? A reasonable tradeoff for the more-than-reasonable low November price compared to area hotels. What made the hostel all the better? The cheerful, easy-going, hard-working manager.

The self check-in process was super easy and convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made the stay extra enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. Location was perfect. I really appreciated the upgrade and would happily stay here again.
