FranceThe staff was the friendliest, they were very sweet and welcoming. They even drove me to the station twice as it was very hot and rainy. Big thank you to Ana and Masa, I cannot stress enough how lovely they were!
There is a bar/restaurant, I didn't get breakfast or dinner but I had a few drinks and they were very nice and cheap.
The bedroom and bathroom facilities had everything you need, even a small fridge in the room. Very comfortable and AMAZING view on the ocean!! Worth it for the money

JapanThe shop owners are an elderly couple who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Staying here feels just like being at home. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The husband even told us to feel free to drink as much wine as we like. The kitchen is fully equipped. This is a warm and cozy place where you'd want to stay forever.

For 2 days I was literally alone, it was super quiet. You have everything you need if you want to prepare your meals. We had a long trip behind us with some fancy hotels and we felt so much better in why kumano than in some other places. It was great to meet some of the other guests and everyone was really kind. Clean and nice showet. Nice staff. The hostel is right by the train station so it was very convenient as I was taking the train early the next morning.
